Several months ago A woman in China, who was six months along in her pregnancy, had been ordered by the government to have an abortion or risk losing her home and paying a hefty fine. The woman and her husband are already parents to two girl children and China strictly enforces its one-child family planning policy and uses forced abortions and sterilizations to do so. This woman had "violated" the two-child exception to the policy some rural women and minorities are given. Now see that is what can happen when the government has a say so over your reproductive rights. The woman was literally handcuffed to a hospital bed waiting for a judgment to forcefully undergo an abortion. because a human rights organization got involved. Finally she was released and allowed to have the baby.Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05636868625682368042noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3023640958277221986.post-50528773797941177282009-06-08T07:21:06.973-04:002009-06-08T07:21:06.973-04:00Great post and I agree with it especially this poi...Great post and I agree with it especially this point:"I see the decision to terminate a pregnancy as a moral decision" Thank you!
