Shia LaBeouf: I Watched My Parents Have Sex

I was going to save this one for tomorrow morning, but foolishness like this just won’t wait that long.

Huffingtonpost reports that in his interview with Parade magazine, Transformers star Shia LaBeouf states that the source of his humor is from “seeing my parents have sex, smoke weed, my mom being naked[.]”

::stopping for a minute to find something kind to say::

Uhh, okay. I guess.

What kind of perverse humor does he have? I once accidentally glimpsed by mom in a pair of white granny panties, and I had to miss two whole days of school.

I am forever amazed at the things we do to our kids. My first inclination was to shake my head and say “white people,” but we do some horrible things to our children as well. I’m not sure if we are having sex in front of them, but I have more than a few cousins who think nothing of blazing up right there in front of junior.

Well, I hope Shia doesn’t take the Robert Downey, Jr. route, but after seeing the things he has seen, I can truly see no other course.

No, we don't have sex in front of them. We just curse a mile a minute. And when the school sends a note home complaining about Jaheem's potty mouth we holler "Well he ain't get that $h!T from home." Then we call for Jaheem to "bring his narrow black @$$ here" before we knock his mofo @$$ into next week.

That's all we do. lol

Yeah, you have to think of it in terms of publicity also. Just that little snippet of the interview they released will pack them into the theater. Unless he goes overboard with his foolishness like that guy jumping up and down on Oprah's couch (his name escapes me at the moment), all publicity is good publicity.

@ Bougie

Yeah, we will curse like sailors right in front of our kids and raise pure outright hell, and then when they go off and replicate the behavior, we can't figure out what's wrong. I wish I had a dollar for everytime I've witnessed that!

As a middle school teacher I can say if I had a dollar for every parent that was amazed at their child's attitude or behavior without checking their own I could retire with money like Bill Gates! Parents often forget that their behavior is modeled by their children. And often think they are my equal. That's right a 12 or 13 year old. They often think they may act or speak to me as if I'm their friend or parent. I often correct that issue the first day of school. Can anyone say Madea!

Ha! You have to get them straight.

I too work with young people, and in most cases I can tell you exactly what goes on in the home by looking at the children's behavior.

Sometimes I feel that a whole generation is being lost to foolishness, the foolishness of their parents.
